Our theme this year is..."Find Your Place at the Library AND Find the Library at Your Place!" With our nationwide shelter-in-place orders all libraries buildings are closed, but librarians and library staff across the nation are working tirelessly to support you and your family with a lot of online titles and resources.

5th : The Plains Indians (Gale Database)
1.) www.spsdallas.org. Academics tab; Library; click on Gale Database. Enter the password. (Refer to "Library digital resources and databases" email that I sent out to parents on March 17, 2020).
2.) Scroll to bottom and select Kids Infobits. Type “Plains Indians” in the search bar. Select “Plains Indians” entry by Britannica Student Encyclopedia: An A to Z Encyclopedia. Chicago, IL: Encyclopaedia Britannica, 2015.
3.) Read (&/or listen) to this brief introduction to the Plains Indians. Take notes about how the Plains Indians adapted to their environment. How did they differ from the Eastern Woodlands tribes?
