How does the app know if it'll rain?
Sprinkle Smart looks up the forecast for your zip code and checks it against a rain threshold you can set in the app.
Why does it use my zip code instead of my location?
Zip code gives an accurate enough forecast for deciding whether to run sprinklers, without needing to ask for your precise location.
How do I change my zip code?
Open the app, tap Settings (gear icon), and update your zip code there.
Will I get a text message?
Notifications are free, on-device alerts styled like a text — not an actual SMS.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and can't be undone.
