Springwells Tennis Club

Welcome to Springwells Tennis Club.  Our club is located in Airdrie and we were founded in 1910. We are affiliated to both British Tennis and Tennis West of Scotland.  

We have 2 astroturf courts which are open all year round and we are always welcome to new members. For information on joining then please click on the button above to access further information including membership fees.

The club has 2 gents teams, 1 ladies teams, an over 60's team and two veterans' teams who all compete in the West of Scotland leagues. However, many of our members do not play competitively and just play socially.

We provide coaching for junior members. This takes place on Saturday mornings throughout the tennis season. Please access the calendar via the button above for information on coaching dates as well as other events. As a family club, we always welcome newcomers to get involved and learn the art of Tennis.

Springwell's Tennis Club Coaching

Every Saturday Morning

1000 - 1100 : Beginners 

1100 - 1200 : Intermediate

1200 - 1300: Advanced

We welcome all young people interested in taking up Tennis to attend our coaching sessions every Saturday morning starting on Saturday 27th April at the appropriate time. If you are keen to continue then you can purchase a membership for £60 which includes Saturday morning coaching sessions throughout the summer. Young people will be advised on the appropriate level throughout coaching to help them with their development. 

                                       2023-24 Team News

This season,  The Gents 1st Team finished fourth in division 6C  with 43 points and narrowly missed out on promotion with very little separating the top 4 teams. The Gents 2nd Team finished 5th in division 8B with 38 points and the Ladies Team finished 6th in Division 6A with 20 points. All teams maintained their division status within the current league setup. A huge thank you to the members of all of the squads and for their contributions this season. The over 40s and over 60s leagues will start in August.
