Hallo. My name is Aaron Goldsmith. You are taking MATH 341: Linear Algebra. As your guide, I am obliged =)
This is a course intended for students who want to see a course in linear algebra emphasizing proofs over mechanical computation.
It is strongly recommended over Math 340 for undergraduate math majors (including double majors) since it will better prepare you for upper-level (500-level) math undergraduate courses. The material covered in both courses is similar, but in Math 341, full proofs will be given for all the material presented, and proof techniques will be explained and practiced.
