If you are a coach requesting funds from the Booster Club, please follow the process below. Our goal is to ensure our funds are impacting the athletes directly and that we are being used as a supplement to other funding sources. This is the mandatory process in order for any requests to be approved unless it is an urgent request:
Obtain a quote from a source that can be shared with the Board
Ensure that the District will not cover the cost. This will be the first step the Booster takes when determining approval.
Submit your request to the Board via email at swhsboosters@yahoo.com with a copy to the Athletic Director. Note that you should include the number of students the requests will impact. For example, if requesting equipment for golf, can it be used by both girls and boys?
ATTEND the next meeting to present your request to the booster club. At this time, there will be questions asked and either a vote to approve or a motion to table until more information is obtained. Please be prepared to speak on whether the district has rejected and why the activities fund for your sport is not covering the cost.
If approved, you will need to submit the INVOICE made out to SWHS Athletic Booster to the email above in order for payment.
