About the session and the speaker: This session, dedicated to a discussion about development of research skills in undergraduate students, is organised by the Future Mathematicians Programme, a mathematics engagement project of the Mathematical Structures and Modelling research programme at NITheCS.
Professor Zurab Janelidze is based at Stellenbosch University, in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. He is a Principal Investigator in the Mathematical Structures and Modelling research programme and serves as the President of the South African Mathematical Society.
Professor Nancy Ann Neudauer, is based at Pacific University Oregon, USA. She is a co-director of the Centre for Undergraduate Research in Mathematics, an undergraduate mathematical sciences research skills development program funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Professor Neudauer holds an extraordinary appointment in the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Stellenbosch University.
