Make a fun kite craft using the directions below. Any kind of paper would work fine. Your squares of paper don't need to be exact, either. Let your imagination soar!

Right click and save to print the template, or, draw your own kite on a piece of paper.

Glue the colored squares to the kite template to create a colorful design. Process is more important than product, so have fun.

1. Put some glue on one section of the kite.

2. Place a layer of colored squares on the glue.

3. Repeat until the whole kite is covered!

Extend the activity: Let the glue dry completely, then tape or tie on a piece of ribbon or string. Now you can pretend to fly your kite outside!
