Overview

Sprigline Bureau is a personal plant record application. It lets you create plant files, save plant details, attach local photo paths, record watering activity, add journal notes, view statistics, open this privacy policy in a WebView, and make optional Google Play In-App Purchase contributions.

Information We Collect

The app stores information you enter into plant files on your device, including plant names, planted dates, soil type, light requirement, notes, health ratings, watering intervals, watering logs, journal entries, and selected photo file paths. The app may access photos you choose through the system image picker so those images can be shown in your plant records.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The app does not intentionally collect account credentials, names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, contacts, microphone audio, camera captures, advertising identifiers, analytics events, or crash reports. The app does not include an account system, authentication, ads SDK, analytics SDK, crash reporting SDK, or cloud sync.

How We Use Information

Locally stored information is used to display your plant files, calculate care readouts, show watering history, show journal activity, and render statistics inside the app. Optional purchase information is processed through Google Play Billing to complete contribution purchases.

Data Sharing

The app does not sell user data and does not share your locally stored plant records with the developer. Data may be handled by third-party platform services only when required for selected app features, such as Google Play Billing for in-app purchases or the WebView loading the hosted privacy policy page.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Play Billing for optional contribution purchases. The app uses WebView to open the hosted privacy policy page. The app uses platform photo selection through the image picker package. These services may process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Data Storage and Security

Plant records are stored locally on your device using Hive local storage. Selected photo paths point to files available on your device. No cloud storage or remote database is implemented in the source code. Please protect your device because local app data may be accessible to anyone with access to your device or backups.

Data Retention and Deletion

Plant records remain on your device until you delete individual plants, delete all data from inside the app, or remove the app and its local data through your device settings. The app does not provide account deletion because it does not create accounts.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

User Choices

You can choose what plant information to enter, whether to select photos, whether to delete plant records, whether to use the WebView privacy policy page, and whether to make optional Google Play contribution purchases. Contributions do not unlock additional features or content.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date will be updated when a new policy version is published.
