Request a Library Card

All Sprague residents are eligible for a free Sprague Library Card which can be used at any public library in the state of Connecticut. Cards are issued in person upon verification of residency.

Sprague residents may complete the Library Card Request Form (below) to receive a temporary library card. This temporary card allows patrons to request materials through our online catalog (for pick up at the library) and access free eBook & audio books remotely. A staff member will contact you once your request has been received.

Do you live in Connecticut but outside of Sprague? Non-residents may use their own town-issued library card for borrowing at Sprague Public Library.
