Saturday January 24thh Location: Physical Address: 5995 Plank Rd, Fredericksburg Va 22407 

Registration: 9:00- 9:45am 

Round 1 begins: 10:00am 

Awards Ceremony: 2:00pm 

Entry Fee : $5.00 per child (payable at the door) 

(nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.) 

This is an unrated tournament for students aged k-12, beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend. 

Register in advance or at the door. 

Students will have the opportunity to play three or four games as time allows. Play will continue until 1 or 2pm, followed by a brief awards ceremony. 

Chancellor Elementary Chess club will be hosting their closed private event concurrent with this tournament. If you are a member of that club and interested in participating, speak with your chess sponsor. 

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each section Elementary School -- Middle School -- High School
