Join us in person for an exciting day of chess battles and brainpower! This tournament is open to ALL grades and ALL levels and is the perfect place to test your skills, meet fellow chess enthusiasts, and have a blast!

No matter your age or rating — every move counts!
Round 1 starts around 10:00am
Awards Ceremony around 1:30pm
This is an unrated tournament for students in grades K-12.
Students will have the opportunity to play three or four rounds as time allows. Each round is 25 minutes but if a game exceeds 25 minutes, players will finish using a 5-minute clock. Play will continue until 1:30 pm and will be followed by a brief awards ceremony.
Notation is not required but encouraged.
Individual trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each section
Primary School (K-3rd)
Elementary School (4th-5th)
Middle School (6th-8th)
High School (9th-12th)
Team trophies will be awarded to the top school in each section.
Bring your focus, your sportsmanship, and your best game face. We can’t wait to see who will claim victory on the chessboard!

This is an unrated tournament for students in grades K-12. All levels are welcome and beginners encouraged to attend.
Students will have the opportunity to play three or four games as time allows. Play will continue until 1pm and will be followed by a brief awards ceremony.

(nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.)
This is an unrated tournament for students aged k-12, beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Register in advance or at the door.
Students will have the opportunity to play three or four games as time allows. Play will continue until 1 or 2pm, followed by a brief awards ceremony.
Chancellor Elementary Chess club will be hosting their closed private event concurrent with this tournament. If you are a member of that club and interested in participating, speak with your chess sponsor.
