Welcome to SpotSaver: Parking Reminder App ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application ("SpotSaver").
SpotSaver is built around a Privacy-First Architecture. Your parking coordinates and photos are processed and stored locally on your device.
What we collect: When you tap "Park Here" or use auto-save features, SpotSaver accesses your device's GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, and accuracy).
How we use it: To pin your vehicle's parking spot on your map, provide walking directions back to your car, and calculate distance.
Storage: Your GPS coordinates are saved locally on your device and are never transmitted to or sold to third-party databases.
What we collect: If you choose to attach a photo of your parking spot (such as a garage pillar number, floor level color, or street sign), SpotSaver accesses your device camera or photo library.
How we use it: To help you visually identify your parking stall inside multi-level parking decks.
Storage: Photos remain strictly on your local device storage.
What we collect: SpotSaver can detect connection state changes with your paired vehicle Bluetooth or CarPlay system.
How we use it: To automatically log or prompt you to save your parking spot the moment your car engine turns off.
SpotSaver is 100% free to use. To support development and maintenance, we display non-intrusive advertisements provided by Google AdMob strictly on the Parking History screen.
Google AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID) and device information to serve relevant or non-personalized advertisements, prevent ad fraud, and provide analytics.

You have full control over your data. SpotSaver stores all data locally on your device — nothing is collected or retained on our servers.
How to delete your data?
Delete individual entries: Open the History tab, select any parking log, and tap Delete.
Delete all data at once: Open SpotSaver, go to Settings > Erase All Saved Spots & Reset App, and confirm. This permanently and immediately removes all saved parking locations, photos, and app preferences from your device.
Uninstalling the app also immediately removes all locally saved data from your device.
No account or login is required to delete your data — you can do this at any time, directly within the app.
SpotSaver is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
