Tiffany Sanchez, owner and lead instructor at Spotlight Learning, has been an educator for over 10 years. Beginning her career with a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pa., Mrs. Sanchez majored in Elementary Education. After graduating from undergrad in 2009, Mrs. Sanchez continued her educational journey throughout several schools in the Pittsburgh area. With a focus on Urban Education, Mrs. Sanchez has been dedicated to serving students in areas that have been the most underserved, and lacking in high quality teachers.

Noticing a great need for quality education and educators in her community, Mrs. Sanchez continued her education with Westminster College, earning a Masters degree in Special Education, with a certification as a Readings Specialist. After graduating in 2017, Tiffany birthed the idea for Spotlight Learning. With the slogan of, "Shining a light on the needs and strengths of every learner", Mrs. Sanchez is continuing to work towards that mission. 

With a passion for giving back to her community, Mrs. Sanchez has taught in public, private, and charter schools throughout the city that are Title I qualifying institutions. From summer school, to after school programs, Mrs. Sanchez has had a variety of experiences in all realms of the education world beyond being just a classroom teacher. 

As a full time working mother of two, Mrs. Sanchez appreciates the dedication all of her families have displayed in regards to the success of their children. "Together, we can all help each child reach their full academic potential."
