Our Design Process

Project Initialization:

• Client Consultation:

  • We established regular check-in's with our client TA for feedback

• Project Management Setup:

  • Created a Trello board for task management and sprint tracking

Sprint Planning:

• Backlog:

  • We continuously updated the user stories on Trello

• Sprint Duration:

  • Had 2-3 week sprints set up based on the project scope and team capacity

Development Workflow:

• Daily Work:

  • Committed to making consistent progress with daily tasks to avoid pre-exam stress

• Regular Check-Ins:

  • Held check ins twice a week to track progress, discuss current work, completed tasks, and plan moving forward.

Design Workflow:

• Exploration:

  • Visited the Spotify API for required features to understand capabilites

• Design Implementation:

  • Developed backend to be functional in regards to user stories

  • Developed UI to display functionality following input from the client TA

• Feedback Integration:

  • Regularly review code and designs with the client TA to incorporate feedback

Final Delivery:

• Product Finalization:

  • Ensured the app met all the client TA’s requirements and expectations

• Product Demo:

  • Demo the application to client TA with all of its features
