Spoons is a privacy-first energy and task tracking app. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the app so that your data stays under your control and on your device.
The Application does not collect any user data within the app.
Specifically, Spoons does not collect:
Personal information
Email addresses or contact details
Location data
Device identifiers
IP addresses
Usage analytics
Tracking data
Behavioral data
Health or medical data transmitted off the device
All app functionality works without collecting or transmitting user data.
Note: Apple may collect limited diagnostic or usage information independently of the app, in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policies. The Service Provider does not have access to this information.
All data you enter into Spoons is stored locally on your device only.
Your data is never uploaded to external servers
We do not operate backend servers
We cannot access, view, or retrieve your data
Your data is never shared with third parties
Your data is never used for advertising or analytics
Your information belongs solely to you.
The Application may store the following information only on your device:
Energy levels (e.g., 1–10 scale)
Optional self-tracked symptoms or notes
Tasks, activities, and projects
Calendar event energy estimates (if calendar permission is granted)
Daily reflections and notes
App preferences (such as theme or appearance settings)
This data is stored using standard iOS local storage mechanisms and is protected by your device’s built-in security features.
Purpose: To display calendar events and help with planning
Data Accessed: Event titles, times, and durations
Usage: Displaying events and estimating task planning effort
Data Handling: Calendar data is processed locally and never transmitted
User Control: You may deny this permission and continue using the app
Purpose: To send optional reminders
Handling: Notifications are scheduled locally on your device
No Data Transmission: No data is sent to external servers
Spoons does not integrate with:
Analytics services
Advertising networks
Cloud storage providers
Social media platforms
Third-party SDKs or tracking tools
No account creation
No sign-in
No email required
Fully functional offline
The Application itself does not upload or sync data to any cloud service.
Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in system-level iOS device backups managed by Apple. The Service Provider does not control or access these backups.
The Application does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children. Since no user data is collected or transmitted, no personal information from children is processed.
The app is intended for personal energy and activity organization and may not be appropriate for all users.
Because all data remains on your device:
Access: You can view your data within the app
Deletion: Delete the app or use in-app controls to remove data
Export: Use available export features (if provided)
Privacy: Your data never leaves your device
Your data is protected by:
Local-only data storage
iOS system security features
Device protections such as passcodes, Face ID, or Touch ID
No data is transmitted over the internet by the Application.
If the Application’s privacy practices ever change (for example, adding optional cloud sync), this Privacy Policy will be updated and users will be informed within the app. Any new data collection would require explicit user consent.
Spoons can be used worldwide. Since no data is transmitted or processed externally, there are no international data transfer concerns.
