Found this spoon along with number 28 while I whimsically dipped into a souvenir store at Bugis, the area around Sultan Mosque. Such a surprising find because once again I wasn't expecting to find any Singaporean spoons. The other notable Singaporean spoon is number 04. Despite the vintage looking style, this spoon features the MBS so it should be manufactured after 2012. It's worth noting that the design on the bowl is not enamelled, but rather a printed decal with an epoxy or resin dome. Kiln fired enamel cannot achieve colour gradients, and you can see slight imperfections where the print is not exactly aligned with the stamped pattern.Â
