Spoon River Farm Student Living is a large country home located between Toulon and Wyoming exclusively for young ladies attending Black Hawk College East Campus. The home featues a large living room, dining room, separate laundry room, 2 1/2 baths, 3 seasons front porch and 5 bedrooms. Home is completely furnished - furniture, beds, stove, Keurig, microwave, two refrigerators, washer and dryer, internet and television. All cookware, silverware and dishes are also provided. Tenants only need to bring personal items and bedding.
Home is conveniently located between Toulon and Wyoming on Illinois Route 17/91. Trash and recycling pick-up is also provided. Nearby, students can access the Rock Island Trail. Less than 1/4 mile away, the trail is great for hiking, walking/jogging and bicycling. Only 12 minutes (all highway) to Black Hawk East campus, this home is ideal for young ladies attending the East Campus!
Each tenant has her own bedroom, common spaces and bathrooms are shared. A patio with picnic table and gas grill is provided. Gas and electricity are included in the rental price. New windows, siding, roof, and new central air and furnace were included in the remodeling of the home in 2016. A backup generator is on site.
Girls preferred—individual leases. Rent is $425 a month, with a 10-month lease. A $425 deposit is required.
Owners live on the site and are available to help with any questions.
Back door access has additional refrigerator and storage area.
Kitchen has plenty of counter space. A Keurig, microwave and crock pot are furnished, as well as other small appliances, dishes and cookware.
Electric stove and additional cabinets on north wall of kitchen. Microwave is included.
Refrigerator and built in storage in kitchen. Another refrigerator is adjacent to the kitchen!
Downstairs laundry room with wall-to-wall storage on opposite side of washer/dryer.
Downstairs bathroom includes shower/tub combo.
Extra large living room has two sofas, two chairs, coffee tables, end tables, lamps and large screen television with a DVD player.
Downstairs bedroom features new carpeting. Dresser and chair also included. A half-bathroom (toilet, sink) is next to this bedroom.
Storage! Upstairs bedroom features two large closets, storage above closets, and views to the south and the west.
Large upstairs bedroom includes bed, lamps, night stands, closet and a dresser. Extra-large room!

Dining room has kitchen table with two benches and an additional seating area as well as storage. Next to the kitchen, this room is perfect for dining as well as completing homework assignments.
Upstairs bedroom has large closet, new carpeting, and nice scenic views to the north and west.
Upstairs bathroom features tub/shower, vanity, and shelves for storage.
