Welcome newbies, here are some rules/knowledge you might need to know if you're a super fresh new starter of this game!

Q1: How to switch channel?

• The channel switcher is located at Izlude (Right map of Prontera South Field, which is the map you born, the poring map, aka newbie ground. If you want to go to Izlude from Prontera, just head South, then East). After you reach Izlude, keep heading North (12 O'clock direction of the Izlude map), once you cross the bridge and see a Valkyrie NPC, turn right, and you will see some Warlock/ High Wizard NPC (the male Warlock is the channel switcher) there, also a SHINY MAJESTIC MAGIC BALL behind them. Fill in the channel number(1-50) you want to go on the red ball.Please note that you WON'T BE ABLE to hit any Mini Boss/ MVP within 2 hours after switching channel!

Q2: What's a Rift/Crack?

• It is a daily quest which gives you some EXP, zeny and equipments. There is chance you can get rare equipments from rift and each rift gives different rare equipment.
• Create a party and have party leader talk to Rift npc (near quest bulletin of Prontera, the name is Suger). Select rifts you want to fix and enter the rifts. Please make sure that the leader had cleared the SOLO mode of the rift on the map you're planning to go, or it wont display on the rift map.
• Kill all monsters to fix the rifts. You can fix 5 rifts per day. Rift will be reset at everyday 5am.

Q3: Tell me about Stamina system!

• If your stamina(battle time) is exceeded your max stamina today, your EXP and droprates will be lower from time to time.
• Stamina will be reset at 5am everyday. (GMT+8)
• You can listen to music to get extra 60 minutes stamina everyday. You will need CD to use music player at Prontera South field.You can buy them from event dealer near the cat girl npc in Pront OR just go to channel 1 and listen to free music. Please note that the Battle Time you get from music player will be reset at 5am every morning. It wont be kept until next day.
• Remaining battle time can be kept to the next day, max amount can be kept is 600minutes.

Example: If you didn't battle for last 2 days, your max battle time today will be 900minutes.(300+300+300)

Example 2: If you didn't battle for last 2 days, and you listened to music player, your max battle time today will be 960minutes (600+60+300)

On the same map, your stamina will still decrease if you're dead but your party members still in battle.

Q4: Tell me about Market!

• Players can to buy various items with Zeny through Market. Price rate will follow the items demand/amount. (You can't adjust it by yourself)
• If the equipment have Strengthen/Cards on it, it will be restored back to original, Zeny and card will be returned. (The process will charge you some fee)
• Players have 8 slot to sell items and it will stay for 24hours for each slot only
• Flash Sales (red timer) : Rare items that put on shelf will get into Flash Sales period(red timer), it will be sold randomly to one of the players who taking part in the Flash sales of the item. Your Zeny will be refunded if you failed on buying the Flash sale item. Item can't be returned if it's already on Flash Sales.

Q7: Tell me about Mentor system!

About Mentor system

• Req of mentor: Base Lv.80, finish [Mentor Quest: go to Prontera Event Plaza and talk to "Tec" to receive the Mentor Quest.] Each Mentor can have 3 students.

▸ Req of student: BaseLv.10—80, doesn't have a mentor yet.

▸ Go to "More" > "Friends" > "Mentor" to check your mentor / students.

Reward of being a Mentor

▸[Mentor Badge] will be given to Mentor everyday according to the amount of daily & weekly quests that done by the Students. Mentor will get [Mentor Badge] every time the student leveled up & graduated. Mentor Badge can be traded for Friendship Card, Paradise Coin, Reward From Guild and etc.

Reward of being a Student

▸ Mentor can use the [Teaching Tool] that bought from [Mentor Vender] on students. The [Teaching Tool] will give students a lot of Job & Base EXP, EXP bonus and stat bonus.

▸ When students reached a certain Job Level, they may get [Reward from Mentor] which contain Adv Eden gears, materials and etc.

Q8: Tell me about repairment! / What's the red hammer on the gears?

• You need another same gear to repair your broken gear by talking to Hollgrehenn(the blacksmith) at Prontera. The gear that Refinement level ≤6 (6 or below 6), can now be used as a repairment material ,no matter it's broken or not. Normal slot gear can also be used on reparing extra slot added gear. (Ex: Double Bound[2] can be repaired with Double Bound[1])

• A11 : There is a featured called Journal. If you level up the Journal to certain level you can do quest to level up your Rank. Now there are Rank Trainee, Scout, F, E, D, C and more to come in the future. Each Rank gives you some adventurer skill which you can learn by using adventurer skill point. Some Rank can unlock headgear recipe too.

Q14: Tell me about Shared store!

• A14: Each account has one Shared Storage. You can access it by talking to Kafra npc and choose [Storage]. Then choose [Shared] from left side tabs. You can deposit and withdraw items from Shared Storage at level 40. Premium Card user can withdraw items before level 40. Please note that some items cannot be put in Shared Storage so better check it carefully if you're planning to transfer something!

Q16: Where to learn Tower mode?

• Level up your Journal to 5. Finish Scout Rank quest from swordman npc at west field of Prontera. Learn the skill from npc at top of Prontera.
