Squad Picker for Spond is a Chrome extension that helps rugby coaches build a match squad from a Spond event. This policy explains what data the extension handles and what happens to it.
When you click Pick squad on a Spond event page, the extension requests that event from Spond using the login already active in your browser. It reads:
The event details: title, date, meet and start times, and venue.
The names of people invited to the event and whether they have accepted, declined or not answered.
Spond's internal member IDs for those people, so the extension can tell them apart.
It does not read your Spond password, messages, payments, contact details or any other part of your account.
All data is stored locally in your own browser, using Chrome's extension storage. This includes the event details, the squads you build, your notes, and the list of people you have marked as coaches or non-players.
Nothing. The extension does not send data to the developer or to any third party. It has no server, analytics, advertising or tracking. The only network request it makes is to Spond, to read the event you are viewing.
If you export a squad as a PDF or image, or print it, the file is created on your device. What you do with it after that is up to you.
Data stays in your browser until you remove it. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its stored data. You can also clear it from Chrome's extension settings.
Spond events for youth teams include players' names. The extension only displays names that the signed-in user can already see in Spond, and keeps them on that user's device. It is intended for use by coaches and team administrators, not by children.
Squad Picker for Spond is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Spond AS. Your use of Spond remains subject to Spond's own terms and privacy policy.
If the extension's handling of data changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
