Spond Fixtures Poster is a Chrome extension that turns your Spond events into fixture posters and a month-by-month calendar. This policy explains what data the extension handles and what happens to it.
When you open the fixtures poster or the month calendar, the extension requests your events from Spond. It uses the login already active in your browser. It reads:
Event details: title, date, start, end and meet times, venue, group name, whether the event is a match, home or away, the opponent's name, and whether the event is cancelled.
The number of people who have accepted, declined or not answered each event. It reads only the counts, not who those people are.
To request your events, the extension uses the Spond login token that the Spond website already keeps in your browser. The token is only sent to Spond, the same as when you use the Spond website. It is never stored by the extension or sent anywhere else.
The extension does not read your Spond password, messages, payments, contact details, or the names of other members.
The extension stores the following in your own browser, using Chrome's extension storage:
Your poster settings: template, size, date range, the event types to include, colours and any text you have edited.
The club logo you upload, if you add one.
The list of events you have chosen to hide.
A copy of the most recently loaded events, so the poster can be shown again without reloading.
Nothing. The extension does not send data to the developer or to any third party. It has no server, analytics, advertising or tracking. Its only network requests go to Spond, to read your events.
When you download a poster as an image or PDF, the file is saved on your device. What you do with it after that is up to you.
Data stays in your browser until you remove it. Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it has stored. You can also clear it from Chrome's extension settings.
Spond groups for youth teams may include children. The extension does not read or store the names of any members, adults or children. It only reads event details and the number of replies.
Spond Fixtures Poster is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Spond AS. Your use of Spond remains subject to Spond's own terms and privacy policy.
If the way the extension handles data changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
