Privacy Policy

SHORT AND SIMPLE.

Splurge - Expense Trip Tracker is an offline-first expense tracker. Your trip and expense data stays on your device — we never upload it to our servers, because we don't have any.

YOUR DATA

All data you enter — trips, expenses, amounts, descriptions — is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. We do not collect, store, or share any of it. We do not require an account to use Splurge.

NETWORK ACCESS

Splurge makes exactly two types of network requests:

• Exchange rates: Currency conversion rates are fetched from the public Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev). Only currency codes are sent — no personal information.

• Cloud backup: If you choose to back up your data, it is stored in your personal iCloud container. We cannot access it.

NO TRACKING

Splurge does not include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or any form of tracking. We don't know who you are, where you go, or what you spend money on.
