Welcome to Split Up! By using this app, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before creating your first group.
By downloading, installing, or using Split Up, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Split Up is intended for users aged 4 and older. If you are under 18, we recommend that you obtain permission from a parent or guardian before using the app.
Split Up is a financial sharing app that allows users to create groups, add activities (such as income, expenses, and transfers), and split them among group members.
Split Up is designed for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, license, or redistribute any part of the app or its content without permission.
If you wish to use the app or its features for commercial purposes, please contact us for licensing information.
The Split Up app and its technology, interface, and underlying systems are the property of Scate.
The content created by you through the app — such as groups, activities, and photos — belongs to you, subject to compliance with these Terms.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you create does not infringe upon the rights of others.
By using Split Up, you agree that:
You will not create or share unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
You are responsible for using the app in a legal and ethical manner
Any outputs or records generated by you reflect your inputs and are your responsibility
You agree not to use Split Up to:
Violate any laws or third-party rights
Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
Reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit the app’s code or functionality
Attempt unauthorized access to or interference with our backend systems
Split Up is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that:
The app will always function without bugs or interruptions
Activity records or data will meet any quality or accuracy standards
Deleted content will be recoverable
You use the app at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Split Up at any time if you violate these terms or misuse the app.
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. By continuing to use the app, you accept the latest version of the terms.
Split Up offers optional subscription plans that unlock premium features such as:
Unlimited group creation (free users can create up to 2 groups)
Photo attachments for income, expenses, and transfers (free users cannot add photos)
Unlimited activity creation (free users can add up to 3 activities per day; this limit resets every 24 hours)
All payments are processed through Apple’s App Store
Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends
You can manage or cancel your subscription via your Apple ID > Subscriptions
We do not offer refunds through the app. For refund inquiries, please refer to Apple’s refund policies.
Subscription access is linked to your Apple ID and not to any internal Split Up user account
