We are proud to be a family-owned and operated small business. Our no-till operation is focused on crop production using sustainable and efficient practices. Our crops are destined for both domestic and export markets. We pride ourselves on stewardship in all areas of our farm - the physical land, our employees and our landowners. All of this is done with family values at the root and with a goal of promoting growth in our community.
Splitter Farms was recognized by Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture for outstanding conservation efforts and leadership in advancing sustainable agriculture.
As a fifth-generation farmer, Matt Splitter—alongside his wife, Janna—brings a stewardship-first mindset to managing 13,000 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat, and sorghum, guided by a “never-till” approach that protects soil health, conserves water, and strengthens regenerative practices. Through mentorship, data-driven decision-making, precision ag technology, and community leadership, the Splitters continue building a more resilient, sustainable future for the next generation.
In 2021, Matt Splitter, owner of Splitter Farms, was honored to be named Tomorrow's Top Producer Horizon Award by Farm Journal and Top Producer. The award, sponsored by Pioneer, recognizes farmers under 35 who demonstrate excellence in farming.
