Dr. Jyotirmoy Karjee [IEEE Senior Member, ACM Member]
JYOTIRMOY KARJEE received his Ph.D (in Engineering) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the year 2014. He was a recipient of European HERITAGE Eramus Mundus fellowship to do Post Doctoral research at Technical University of Munich, Germany. He completed his B.E in Electronics and M.E in Information Technology in the year 2003 and 2005, respectively. Currently, he is associated with Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore (since Oct, 2018). Before joining Samsung, he worked with TCS Research & Innovation Labs as a Scientist. He also have worked as a Data Scientist & Engineer in various Industries and associated with academic institutions as Associate Professor & Assistant Professor. He has more than sixteen years of research & development experience working in various
reputed academic & research institutes and industries.
He has published numerous research papers in reputed International Conferences, Journals and also have filed many patents in his domain expertise. He was a Recipient of Best Paper Award in 3rd International Conference on Recent Trends in Information, Telecommunication and Computing in 2012. He is a Senior IEEE member and an active member of ACM.
Expertise in the domain of Deep Learning, Split Computing, Multimedia (Video/Audio/Text/XR), Edge Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Networking and Distributed Computing for Artificial Intelligence.
