Scale Modelling

My fascinantion with machines, history and making drove me naturally to scale modelling. My first scale models were old Soviet kit already assembled by my cousin, that my father hanged from a lamp. Given that plastic models were non-existent, I used and old photocopied Model Expo catalog (which I still conserve). From there I obtained the general measurements, then I made my own plans (horribly inaccurate, obviously). My main material was baggage styrofoam. Despite the facy that they can hardly could be named "scale models", I consider them my most authentic. Lately I made commercial plastic models, photographs of which can be seen on this album and my Instagram account.

I´m also interested on dynamic scale models, like flyable craft, and ships and submarines. Developments on these more handcrafted projects can also be seen in my  Instagram and through my blog.
