Spirit Trace (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Spirit Trace handles information when you use the Spirit Trace mobile application.
Spirit Trace is designed to operate without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, or postal address.
Spirit Trace may request access to your device microphone when you use features that require audio input for paranormal investigation.
Microphone audio is used to provide the app’s investigation functionality.
Unless specifically stated otherwise within the app, microphone audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded to us, stored on our servers, sold, or shared with third parties.
You can control microphone access at any time through your device’s privacy settings.
Information generated while using Spirit Trace, such as investigation results, detected words, session information, settings, and saved investigations, may be stored locally on your device so that you can access them later.
We do not receive or have access to locally stored investigation information.
You can delete saved investigations using the deletion functionality provided within the app.
Spirit Trace does not intentionally collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your telephone number
Your contacts
Your photographs
Your precise location
Your health information
Your financial or payment information
Your microphone recordings for remote storage
Your saved investigation information for remote storage
Spirit Trace does not require registration or a user account.
Information accessed by Spirit Trace is used solely to provide the functionality of the application.
We do not use microphone input or investigation information to:
Identify you
Build a personal profile about you
Sell information to advertisers
Sell information to data brokers
Contact you for marketing purposes
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Because Spirit Trace is designed to process investigation information locally on your device, we do not receive your microphone recordings or locally stored investigation results.
Spirit Trace does not intentionally track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
We do not use your microphone or investigation information for advertising purposes.
Information saved locally by Spirit Trace remains on your device until you delete it or remove the application.
You can delete individual saved investigations using the deletion functionality within Spirit Trace.
Deleting the Spirit Trace application will also remove locally stored application data, subject to the normal operation of your device and any operating-system backup mechanisms.
Because we do not maintain a remote account containing your investigation data, there is no server-side investigation database that you need to request us to delete.
Spirit Trace is not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Spirit Trace.
Where information is processed and stored locally on your device, its security is also affected by the security of your device, operating system, passcode, and any backups you use.
You can control Spirit Trace’s access to protected device resources, including the microphone, through your device’s privacy settings.
You may also delete saved investigation information directly within the app.
If you do not grant microphone permission, features requiring microphone access may not function.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Spirit Trace, our privacy practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be changed.
