SpiritTalker is a paranormal investigation app that provides on‑device visualization and audio features. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
Data We Access
Microphone amplitude: The app may access the device microphone to measure audio amplitude for visualizations and features like energy meters. Raw audio is not recorded or transmitted by default.
Local preferences: The app stores minimal settings locally on your device (e.g., TTS voice, UI options). These settings do not include personal information.
Session exports (optional): If you choose to export investigation sessions, files are saved locally or to a destination you select. The app does not automatically upload these files.
Data We Do Not Collect
No account creation.
No analytics, ads SDKs, or tracking.
No server-side data collection.
How Data Is Used
Microphone access is used solely for local visualization and features within the app.
Preferences are used to remember your choices between sessions.
Exported files are under your control and saved only where you direct.
Third‑Party Services
SpiritTalker does not integrate third‑party analytics or advertising SDKs. Any text‑to‑speech functionality runs locally using platform TTS capabilities.
Children’s Privacy
SpiritTalker is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age required by your local laws without parental consent.
Security
We rely on your device’s built‑in security and operating system sandboxing. Keep your device up to date and use a device passcode for protection.
Your Choices
You can deny microphone permission; the app will handle the denial gracefully, though some audio‑based features may be limited.
You can delete exported files at any time using your file manager.
You may reset preferences by clearing the app’s storage.
Purchases and Payments
Purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to Google Play policies and applicable local laws. Outside of those policies and legal requirements, we do not offer additional voluntary refunds.
