Fixing Out Your Plus Size Set of Clothing

If you haven't cleaned your dresser in a while, it's probably time to get it done. I try to clean out my personal clothing collection once or twice a year. You'll run out of clothes or clothes will just become a way to avoid style, so you probably won't need them anymore.

However, cleaning your plus size clothes can be a little complicated, especially if you don't need to get rid of it. Thus, I have made some recommendations below that will help you get all your personal plus size clothing fixes. First, reduce clothing that is too small or perhaps too loose.

We all actually have those "one day" clothes and they are simply taking up space within our closets so that we don't have enough clothes to fit all of us at the moment. Wearing clothes that are too loose-fitting puts extra burden on your body, which you do not need when you are aiming to look slim.

If you've grown to a size 20, just continue to have size 18 clothes, but get rid of anything smaller than a 22 or too big. Weight can change so you need to make sure you can provide if necessary. Avoid almost any plus size clothes that have large prints and patterns on them. Oversized prints and styles make you look bigger than usual. The same applies to horizontally striped clothing. Avoid those clothes! They help you look bigger, whether you want to consider it or not. Always keep vertical striped clothes.

Wear clothes that have a wide range of ruffles or pleats on your problem areas. For example, if your waist is the widest part of your body, steer clear of clothes that have lots of ruffles around the waist. Avoid clothes in your plus size that just look flat. This doesn't mean you're plus size, you look terrible. Make sure you choose clothes that create amazing proportions, form and style. When successfully curating your plus size clothes collection, you may feel a little overwhelmed at first because you probably have to pare down a lot of clothes. On the other hand, this may result in extra room for clothes that actually fit you.

This way, as soon as you're available for work the next day, or perhaps at night when you're ready to go out with coworkers or someone else, you can be ready to find something that really works. Immediately or otherwise as appropriate. Once you have a pile of 20 pieces of clothing on your bed, you can quickly find one that fits and makes you look great on your work day or when you go out for the night.

Getting your plus size wardrobe in order will definitely help you gain extra confidence. So tidy up that closet now and good luck to you!
