About
The Spinal Cord Group is based within The Centre for Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow. Our research focuses on the role of the spinal cord in sensory function. We use a number of different techniques, including immunocytochemistry, confocal and electron microscopy, electrophysiology, behavioural assessment, chemogentics and optogenetics, to research the spinal circuitry that underlies sensations such as pain, itch and touch.
