Plasticity

Plasticity rules can be used to modify weights on specific synapse groups. To use a given plasticity rule, it's pointer must first be added to the SpikingModel and then added to the list of plasticity rules in the parameters of the synapses upon which it should act. See the Brunel network for an example.

Currently, the following plasticity rules exist:

• Weight Dependent STDP
• Inhibitory STDP (Vogels et al. 2011)
• Weight Normalization
