Today, the Sri Lankan spice industry continues to grow, thanks to its success in foreign markets where customers are drawn in by the exotic aromas of Sri Lankan spices. Sri Lanka provides the international market with some of the most sought-after spices and related products, such as cinnamon, pepper, cloves, cardamoms, nutmeg, mace and vanilla. Sri Lanka's spice exports now account for more than half of the country's total agricultural exports, and they are expected to keep growing as they make their way into kitchens around the world.
