4th workshop on

Statistical Physics for Financial & Economic Networks

NetSci 2019 Satellite | May 28th Burlington, Vermont

Financial and economic networks are found everywhere: networks of banks, stocks, companies, countries, industries, products, simulated economic agents, and so on. These networks are strikingly diverse, but far from independent of one another. Financial and economic networks are studied across a wide variety of fields with different disciplinary perspectives, applying the tools of statistical physics, computer science, and complex systems alongside those employed in traditional finance and economics.

This workshop, a satellite meeting to NetSci2019, returns for the fourth edition after being hosted by StatPhys26, NetSci2017 and NetSci2018, aiming at bringing together researchers active in the study of financial and economic networks to discuss state-of-the-art work in the field, share knowledge across disciplines, and create opportunities for novel and fruitful collaborations.
