We are the San José State University Chapter of SPE, or Society of Plastic Engineers.
Our purpose is to provide students interested in polymers, plastics engineering, and materials engineering with opportunities to further their knowledge and become successful in the industry. Society of Plastic Engineers aims to unite students to follow their interests in the field of polymers and plastics through professional events, club presentations for industry representatives, and tours of companies with interests in the plastic’s field. This club also seeks to provide a sense of community and unity amongst the students in the Chemical and Materials Engineering Department, as well as to foster close, professional relationships with those outside of the department and the College of Engineering.
We are open to all sorts of majors, just so long as you come with a readiness to socialize and learn! If you're interested in learning more about our upcoming events or our E-Board, feel free to explore our website and reach out.
