Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 26, 2026
FixMyBudget ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your financial privacy. This Privacy Policy details how FixMyBudget processes information entirely on your local device.
1. Zero Cloud Data Collection
FixMyBudget operates as a localized offline vault. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal, financial, or transaction data on external cloud servers. All financial ledger information remains securely sandboxed within your local device storage.
2. Local SMS and Notification Processing
To automate expense tracking, FixMyBudget utilizes on-device notification listener APIs and SMS reading permissions.Â
100% Local Analysis: The parsing of financial transactions from transaction alerts is performed entirely in real-time on your physical device.
No Server Transmission The text contents, metadata, and sender info of your notifications or SMS messages are never sent over the network.
Strict Transaction Filtering: Non-financial notifications are ignored immediately and are never read, stored, or processed.
3. Biometric and Local Security Data
Any security credentials, including PIN codes and local fingerprint or facial recognition templates, are handled directly by your device's native operating system security hardware APIs (BiometricPrompt / Keystore). FixMyBudget does not have access to, nor does it store, your physical biometric data.
4. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have absolute ownership over it. Uninstalling the FixMyBudget app or clearing its application storage via system settings permanently deletes all recorded transactions, categories, and account logs instantly.
