This Privacy Policy informs you regarding the policies concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Spendly mobile application.
Spendly is designed to be a local-only expense tracking application.
We Do Not Collect Personal Data: Spendly does not request, transmit, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from users, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or demographic information. We do not require an account to use the application.
We Do Not Collect Financial Data: We do not collect, transmit, or share your financial records, including expense amounts, categories, dates, or notes, outside of your device.
All data created by the user within the Spendly application is stored locally on your mobile device.
Type of Data Stored: Expense records (Amount, Category ID, Note, Date), and user-defined Categories.
Storage Method: Data is stored using the Room Persistence Library within a local SQLite database on your device.
Data Security: The security of your data relies entirely on the security of your device (e.g., your device’s password or biometric lock). The application itself does not employ server-side encryption or network transmission.
We do not share your data. Since Spendly does not collect or transmit any user data (personal or financial) to any external servers or third parties, there is no data to share or disclose.
Spendly does not integrate with any external third-party analytics, advertising, or payment processing services that would collect data from the user.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect the local data on your device, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. As all data is stored locally, we cannot be responsible for any unauthorized access to your device.
Spendly does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application or via a notification.
