This Privacy Policy explains how the Spend Jar: Expense Tracker app ("the app", package name com.spendjar.expense_tracker) handles your information. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
The app does not collect, store, or share any personal information. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or location to use the app.
Data Stored on Your Device
The expenses you add (amount, title, category, date, and optional note), your selected currency, and your budget are saved only on your own device using local storage. This data is never uploaded to any server, and we cannot see or access it.
Internet and Third-Party Services
The app works fully offline. It does not use the internet, analytics tools, advertising networks, or any third-party services that collect data.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, photos, or any other sensitive permissions.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete all your saved expenses at any time from Settings > Delete all expenses inside the app. Uninstalling the app also permanently removes all data stored by the app on your device.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
