Coming up on November 30th:
There's a new composer in town: and he can't make up his mind. Caught in between wanting to be writer for the theater and a rockstar, Spencer Stanley is a talent you've never quite seen before. With a night that features his own pop songs and the beginning of his new Puerto-Rican Musical, fans of both Billy Joel and Lin-Manuel Miranda will see themselves in Spencer's music. Seen on the stages of Carnegie Hall, The Goodspeed Opera House, and 54 Below, this renaissance man has written songs you'll hum out the door, and make you feel something. And though he won't leave the piano, come find out why they call him "sexy...with the right moves, the perfect look and the voice to match" (Paula Kaplan-Reiss, Berkshire Edge). Get tickets here!

"Spencer Stanley is superb as Chad the roustabout, putting his own spin on the Presley classics including "Jailhouse Rock," "Roustabout," "Blue Suede Shoes," and the iconic "Burning Love." Stanley never tries to imitate The King, though he does have Presley's swiveling hip movements down to an art form." ~ Berkshire Edge

"Special mention must be given to Stanley as Nicely Nicely Johnson. He lights up the stage singing the title song with Dossett as Benny Southstreet, and gives a priceless rendition of showstopper, Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat. ." ~Berkshire on Stage.

"Spencer Stanley’s Nicely-Nicely Johnson is a stand-out performer throughout the show and when he gets his big number in Act Two, “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat,” it is a show-stopper." ~ Berkshire Edge

"Speaking of over-the-top, 'Nostraumdus,' the soothsayer who leads the Bottom Brothers astray - but just by a little bit - is hilariously embodied by sophomore Spencer Stanley. It's hard in collegiate productions to cast older characters sucessfully, but I never thought about that with Stanley. He nearly steals the first act with the musical number 'A Musical.'"

"His last role before he begins his university studies was as Nigel Bottom, Nick's younger brother. He nailed every aspect of the well-developed role and even changed costumes to dance with the members of the ensemble for many of the dance breaks, Mr. Stanley, who played Finch in 'How to Succeed...' with ELRT, was recently honored with a Stephen Sondheim Award for Best Actor."

"The triple threat actor Spencer Stanley brought charm and grace to the role of J. Pierrepont F-i-n-c-h in his 13th production with this company. He received a Halo nomination for his role as Skye in East Lyme HS' GUYS AND DOLLS and has already appeared on the stages of Goodspeed, Ivoryton, and 54 Below in NYC. This young man will go far."
