Shiv Shankar Sinha is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. He completed his M.Tech. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from NIT Silchar in 2022. Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) and electric vehicle technologies are something he is very passionate about. His research interests include fast charging and health monitoring of LIBs, electrothermal modeling of batteries, and LIBs performance optimization.

Tanzeela Mir completed her MTech in Power Electronics; Electrical Drives from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, in the year 2022. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Tanzeela is driven by a strong desire to develop and implement sustainable solutions for the modern world's energy needs. Her research interests are centered on the development and implementation of efficient power electronic converters for various applications, with a special emphasis on electrified transportation and renewable energy integration.
N S Ramanathan has completed his MTech from IIT Gandhinagar with the Institute Gold medal in 2024. He finished his B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. He worked on universal onboard chargers for electric vehicles in his bachelor's, using cascaded buck-boost topology. He has work experience of one year in ZF Wabco India Limited as a system engineer. He is presently pursuing his PhD in electrical engineering at IIT Gandhinagar with a distinguished Director's fellowship. His research interests include power electronic converters and drives.
Gupteswar Behera is completed a Master's in Science degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. He completed his bachelor's in physics with honors from Berhampur University, Odisha. His research interests lie at the intersection of physics and renewable energy. His present focus is on modeling and optimizing photovoltaic (PV) panels, with an increase in efficiency and effectiveness, making renewable energy more accessible. He is working as a project associate in the lab and preparing for PhD.
Ambika is a first-year MTech student in the Electrical Engineering department specializing in Power Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. She completed her BTech in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur in 2022. Her passion for renewable energy was developed when she started her summer internship at IIT Indore on Solar Photovoltaic Cell. Her research interest includes Renewable energy, Microgrid, and Machine Learning.
Kanuj Chitranshu is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Power Engineering and Control System program at IIT Gandhinagar, having earned his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, AMU. During his undergraduate studies, he focused on Optimization Algorithms. His enthusiasm for integrating renewable energy sources and grid management grew during his internship at NRLDC, POSOCO. His research interests encompass Renewable Energy, Grid management, Optimization, and Solar Photovoltaic.
Tahseen Mirza has completed her B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, part of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). She is presently pursuing her M.Tech in Power Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar. Her research interests include renewable energy, optimizing photovoltaic (PV) panels, IoT sensing, machine learning, and electric vehicle technology.

Arindam Chakraborty has joined as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar). He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad on 23rd February, 2024. He has worked in the area of low voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability enhancement of grid-connected DFIG-based WECS. He completed his M.Tech in Power System Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Nagaland in 2018 and his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in 2016. His research interests include grid integration of renewable energy, power quality improvement, energy storage, LVRT enhancement, and FACTS devices.
Soham Chakraborty was born in Kolkata, India. He received the B. Tech., degree in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, in 2015. He received the M. Tech., degree in Power Systems from SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai, India, in 2017. He has submitted the thesis for the Ph.D., degree in the area of hybrid static converters for power quality enhancement in distribution systems at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata, West Bengal, India in Sep., 2023. He was working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata, India from Aug., 2017 to Jan., 2024. He has joined the Smart Power Electronics Laboratory (SPEL) at IIT Gandhinagar as Postdoctoral Fellow in Jan., 2024 on a project related to control of induction motor drive for EV application. His research interests include power converters, power quality, microgrid, electric drives, and power system analysis.
