Speedy Rocket is designed as a registration-free, privacy-first utility.
No User Accounts: You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal identification (such as name, email address, or phone number) to use the full functionality of the Application.
No Backend Storage: We do not own, lease, or operate any proprietary database servers to collect, upload, or harvest your specific network testing logs or usage habits.
Diagnostic Data: All metrics generated during your network tests—including download speed, upload speed, latency (Ping), and jitter—are calculated directly on your iOS device.
Local-Only Storage: This diagnostic history and data stay strictly on your local device. We do not have access to this information. You can delete this data at any time via the Application’s settings panel.
To perform network diagnostics and verify real-time global latency, the Application interacts with public infrastructure networks:
Network Performance Testing: The Application utilizes public third-party test nodes (such as Cloudflare public test endpoints) to measure your connection speed. When a test is initiated, your device directly queries these nodes.
IP Addresses and Routing: Your public IP address is naturally visible to these public nodes during the duration of the technical test to route network packets. This data is handled in accordance with the respective third-party provider's privacy standards and is not intercepted or retained by us.
The Application may request the following permissions on your iOS device strictly to provide its core utility:
Network/Wi-Fi State: Required to detect whether your device is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular networks and to perform data throughput measurements.
Local Network Permission (iOS): Used solely to accurately diagnose connection paths and ensure proper routing for speed tests.
Our Application does not collect or store any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is transmitted to us, we comply fully with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar global frameworks.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be made transparently by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any modifications.
