Email Address: katmoremoc@gmail.com
For inquiries regarding privacy or to exercise your data rights, you may contact our designated Privacy Officer via the email address provided above.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To provide you with real-time speed tracking, mileage calculations, HUD (Heads-Up Display) functionality, and motion-based utilities, we collect both information you voluntarily provide and data generated automatically during your use.
A. Precise Location Data (Core Feature Requirement)
Precise Location Data (GPS): Because V-Gauge is a speedometer and HUD tool, the App requires access to your device's precise location (GPS) in real-time.
Foreground vs. Background Usage: V-Gauge accesses your location data while the app is in use (foreground) to provide real-time speed.
How it is processed: This location data is processed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, sell, or share your precise real-time location coordinates to our servers.
B. Camera & Audio Data
Camera & Microphone: If you utilize dashcam recording features within the App, the App will require real-time access to your device's camera and microphone to capture video and audio. All recordings are processed and saved locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your audio or video files on external cloud servers.
How it is processed: All video feeds and camera streams are processed strictly locally on your device in real-time. We do not capture, record, upload, store, or share your video streams, photos, or facial data to our external cloud servers without your explicit permission.
C. Physical Activity & Motion Data
Physical Activity Data: The App may request access to your device's physical activity and motion sensors .
How it is processed: This data is used strictly locally on your device to detect your state of motion (such as distinguishing between driving, cycling, walking, or remaining stationary). This helps us accurately pause/resume mileage calculation and optimize GPS sensor battery consumption. We do not upload, track, or compile your fitness histories on our servers.
D. Information You Provide Voluntarily
Feedback and Support: If you contact us directly, we may collect your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments you send. This is strictly used to reply to your inquiries.
E. Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you use the App, we automatically collect certain non-personal technical statistics to ensure application stability, including:
Your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address.
Hardware manufacturer, model, and screen size.
Operating system version and CPU architecture.
Device and advertising identifiers (such as Google AAID), which are used solely for application analytics and performance monitoring.
App performance metrics (e.g., crash logs, session duration, and network connection status).
F. Payment and Subscription Information
If you choose to purchase a premium subscription or in-app items, your payment will be processed entirely by third-party application platforms (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or billing information.
3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process your information based on the following legal grounds:
Your Consent: When you grant GPS location, Camera, Physical Activity, or notification permissions or consent to data collection.
