• IP Address: Used to measure latency (ping) and determine the closest test server for bandwidth testing.

• Location Data (Approximate): Used to identify your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and select the optimal server for speed testing.

• Device Identifiers: We may collect your unique device ID (Advertising ID) for advertising purposes.

• Network Information: Signal strength, connection type (Wi-Fi/Mobile), and carrier name.

B. Speed Test Data

When you run a test, the app temporarily transmits data packets to third-party servers (such as Netflix/Fast.com, Ookla/Speedtest.net, or Google DNS) to measure download/upload speeds and jitter. This data is strictly technical and used solely to calculate your network performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To calculate ping, jitter, packet loss, and bandwidth speeds.

• Advertising: To display banner ads via Google AdMob. This allows us to keep the app free.

• App Improvement: To analyze crash logs and improve app stability.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to show personalized ads based on your interests.

• Google Play Services: Used for core app functionality and safety.

Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID).

4. Children’s Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.
