Speed Memo Privacy Policy

Speed Memo values the privacy of its users.
This Privacy Policy explains the information that may be processed while using the app and the purposes for which such information may be used.
1. Personal Information Directly Collected by the App
Speed Memo does not require users to register or sign in.
The developer does not directly collect the user's name, phone number, email address, password, address, contacts, or precise location information.
2. Storage of Memo Content
Memos created by the user are stored locally on the user's device.
Memo content is not transmitted to the developer's server, and the developer cannot access or collect the user's memo content.
Users can delete saved memos directly within the app.
3. Voice Input and Microphone Permission
Speed Memo may use microphone permission to provide voice memo input features.
The microphone is used only when the user directly activates the voice input feature.
Voice recognition is processed through a speech recognition service installed on the user's Android device.
Depending on the user's device settings and the speech recognition service provider, voice data may be transmitted to and processed by the service provider's servers.
The developer does not separately store or directly receive the user's original voice recordings.
4. Advertising Services
Speed Memo includes advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
During the delivery of advertisements, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically process information such as:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- App interaction information
- Advertisement views and clicks
- App or device diagnostic information
- Device type, operating system, and network information
This information may be used to provide advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve services.
Google's processing of information is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies.
5. Permissions Used by the App
Speed Memo may use the following permissions:
- Microphone permission:
Used to recognize the user's voice when the voice input feature is activated.
- Internet permission:
Used to load Google AdMob advertisements.
- Network state permission:
Used to check the internet connection status and process advertisement requests.
6. Automatic Backup and Device Transfer
Memos are primarily stored locally on the user's device.
However, if the user has enabled Android automatic backup or device transfer features, app data may be backed up to the user's Google Account backup storage or transferred to a new device.
The developer does not directly access backup data created by the Android system.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Memo data may remain stored on the user's device until the user deletes the memo within the app or uninstalls the app.
Backup data created through Android automatic backup or device transfer features may be stored separately according to Google policies, device operating system policies, and the user's settings.
The developer does not operate a separate server that stores the user's memo content or voice data.
8. Sharing and Sale of Personal Information
The developer does not sell users' personal information.
However, Google AdMob or the speech recognition service installed on the user's device may process information necessary to provide advertising or voice recognition services.
9. Protection of Personal Information
The developer does not intentionally collect unnecessary personal information and seeks to use only the minimum permissions required to provide the app's features.
Users may change or revoke microphone permission at any time through their device settings.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features, advertising services, or applicable laws and regulations change.
When significant changes are made, the effective date displayed on this page will be updated.
