By downloading, accessing, or using Speech to Text, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
Speech to Text provides tools that allow users to record or import audio and convert spoken content into text. Depending on the features available, the App may also provide transcription, summaries, notes, translations, AI-powered analysis, and related functionality.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
You may provide or upload content to Speech to Text, including:
Audio recordings
Video files
Text
Transcriptions
Notes
Prompts
Other content supported by the App
You retain ownership of your content.
By submitting content to the App, you grant us and our service providers the limited rights necessary to process, transmit, store, and display that content solely to provide the features you request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to record, upload, transcribe, or otherwise process content through the App.
Speech to Text may allow you to record conversations, meetings, interviews, or other audio.
You are solely responsible for complying with applicable recording, wiretapping, privacy, and consent laws.
Before recording another person, you should obtain any consent required by applicable law.
We are not responsible for your failure to obtain appropriate consent or permission.
Speech to Text may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to generate transcriptions, summaries, notes, translations, key points, action items, and other outputs.
AI-generated results may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations.
You should review and verify important information before relying on any transcription or AI-generated output.
The App's outputs should not be considered professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialized advice.
Speech-to-text technology may not accurately recognize every word, speaker, language, accent, recording, or audio environment.
Factors such as background noise, audio quality, pronunciation, multiple speakers, and technical limitations may affect transcription accuracy.
We do not guarantee that transcriptions will be complete, accurate, or error-free.
You agree not to use Speech to Text to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe another person's rights
Upload content that you do not have permission to use
Record individuals unlawfully
Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Interfere with the operation or security of the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by applicable law
Circumvent subscription, payment, usage, or security mechanisms
Use the App to distribute malicious software or harmful content
Abuse automated services or AI functionality
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe the App is being misused.
Speech to Text may offer premium features through subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
Subscription pricing, billing periods, and available features are displayed in the App or Apple's App Store before purchase.
Payments are processed through Apple's App Store payment system.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled according to Apple's applicable subscription procedures.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
Refunds are subject to Apple's applicable refund policies and procedures.
If Speech to Text offers a free trial, the trial period and applicable terms will be displayed before you start the trial.
Unless canceled in accordance with the applicable subscription terms, a subscription may automatically begin after the trial period ends.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional trials at any time.
The App, including its software, design, interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the App.
You retain ownership of content that you submit to the App.
Speech to Text may rely on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including:
Speech recognition
Artificial intelligence processing
Cloud services
Analytics
Crash reporting
Payment processing
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their respective terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or performance of third-party services.
We strive to keep Speech to Text available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time.
Some features may require an internet connection or third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Speech to Text is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
Accuracy of transcriptions
Accuracy of AI-generated content
Availability of the App
Reliability of the App
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Results obtained through use of the App
You use the App at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the parties responsible for operating Speech to Text will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, inaccurate transcriptions, AI-generated content, or inability to use the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the parties responsible for operating Speech to Text, including their affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers, from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
Your use or misuse of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of another person's rights
Content you submit or process through the App
Your failure to obtain required recording or privacy consent
We may suspend or terminate your access to Speech to Text if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
You may stop using the App at any time.
Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should continue to apply will remain effective, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of Speech to Text after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
