If you prefer a version with higher contrast, straighter lines of text, and larger print, check out the large print edition! There are small variations in design to accommodate the different dimensions, but all of the content, including the figures and the art, is identical--just easier to read!
It's a bit more complicated to put together, but I think you'll like it!

Print onto copy paper
Do not print on both sides of the paper!! We want two sheets for this!
The margins are very narrow!
Designed to be printed in grayscale
Fold and cut the booklets! (requires scissors or craft knife)
Instructions here
The front page of the first booklet is page 1; the front page of the second booklet is the bottom of page 3, labeled (3)
If it looks a little rough, you did it perfect
Attach the booklets together! Look for the labels "Insert second booklet here" and "attach booklets here" in the middle of each booklet. "Stations," small dots to use as landmarks for binding, are marked on page 5 and between pages 1 and 9.
The most satisfying way to do this is to sew it, following the instructions for "Method 3" here. I like to add some color by using a bright thread!
Not a good option? Try:
Staple the booklets, using the stations to help position the staples. We want to be as close to the line as possible, or the book won't open properly!
If your stapler is too short to reach, try very gently bending the pages so that you get closer to the crease
Tie a piece of thread or string as tightly as you can between the two books without bending or ripping the edges
Leave them unbound! That's your business!
