Billing
All subscriptions to Speech to Text+ Premium are acquired exclusively through Apple In-App Purchases. All financial transactions are processed and managed by the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Speech to Text+ does not directly collect, store, or process any payment or billing information. Subscription Plans
Speech to Text+ Premium is available through two auto-renewing subscription plans:
Monthly Plan — Billed once per month at the current listed price.
Yearly Plan — Billed once per year at the current listed price, offering a significant discount compared to the monthly plan.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. There is no free trial; billing begins immediately upon subscribing. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency within the app prior to purchase.
What Premium Includes
A Speech to Text+ Premium subscription unlocks the following features: ad-free experience, unlimited note length, iCloud sync across devices, PDF export, and custom fonts, colors, and sizes. Free users are limited in note count and do not have access to these premium features.
Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price you originally paid unless the subscription price has changed, in which case Apple will notify you in advance.
Billing Grace Period
If your subscription renewal fails due to a payment issue — such as an expired credit card or insufficient funds — a 3-day grace period will apply. During this grace period, you will retain full access to all Speech to Text+ Premium features while Apple attempts to process your payment. If the payment issue is resolved within the 3-day window, your subscription will continue uninterrupted. If payment cannot be collected by the end of the grace period, your subscription will expire and your account will revert to the free tier. You may resubscribe at any time from the Premium screen within the app.
Cancellation of Subscriptions
You may cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device, or visit https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access to all Premium features until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period.
Refunds
Since all purchases are processed through the App Store, Apple's refund policy applies. If you wish to request a refund, you may do so by contacting Apple directly at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084. Speech to Text+ does not have the ability to issue refunds on Apple's behalf.
In-App Purchases
Speech to Text+ may also recognize a legacy lifetime Premium purchase for users who purchased before the introduction of subscription plans. All In-App Purchases are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are valid only within Speech to Text+. If you encounter any payment-related issues, please contact Apple Support, as all billing is handled exclusively through the App Store.
Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall Speech to Text+ or switch to a new device, you can restore your active subscription or previous purchases by tapping "Restore Purchases" on the Premium screen within the app. This will verify your purchase history with the App Store at no additional charge.
