We solicit abstracts of original, unpublished research on, but not limited to, one of the following areas for oral/poster presentations

Forensic linguistics and verbal aggression and conflict recognition
Theoretical modelling of verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness in speech and text
Gender and verbal aggression and conflict
Identity and verbal aggression and conflict
Politics and verbal aggression and conflict
Emotional communication and conflict
These areas could be discussed in relation to any one or more of the following settings
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness in political discourse and parliament
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness among family members
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness among colleagues
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness in the classroom
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness in inter/cross cultural communication
Verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness in call centre discourses
Language aggression and conflict on the social media and other computer-mediated communication
In addition to these, contributions in any area of verbal aggression, conflict and impoliteness and in any setting is solicited.
