Location:
Parking:
Northside Garage, 104 Ireland St., across from the Blocker Building. Pay for your spot immediately after parking the car and before leaving garage. $40 fine for not paying.
Hotel: There are several hotel options in Century Square (walking distance from the Texas A&M Campus). We recommend the following three hotels:
We will make the hotel reservations for all participants who receive financial support.
Restaurants:
There are many restaurants in Century Square (between Blocker and the Hampton Inn). Other restaurants are located along University Avenue (the wide road running along the North side of Campus) west of the Blocker Building.
Transportation
By Air:
The most convenient airport is Easterwood (CLL), which is located on the Texas A&M Campus. Easterwood is served by American Airlines through Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW).
Another option is to fly into Houston (IAH or HOU) or Austin (AUS). There is a regular shuttle service from IAH (Ground Shuttle—which must be reserved in advance), and the only option for Austin is to hire a car. If you choose to drive from these other airports, we hope that you can car pool with someone.
Driving:
From Houston or Austin, the drive to College Station will take less than two hours. From Dallas, it takes about three hours.
