Very well. Approach, seeker, and peer into the shadowed depths of what is asked... and sometimes answered. Here is a list of frequently posed inquiries, tinged with the unsettling nature of my domains.
Will any of your tales ever feature [insert a specific phobia or creature]?
Send me a private message and we will see.
Are the locations in your stories based on real places?
Some locations are real, some are a mixture of real and fantasy, and even others are pure horror.
What is the inspiration behind the creatures in [a specific work]?
Real people inspire my stories in the Death Inc series. Some of those stories have a prophetic twist, others is just wishful thinking. Others are more or less obvious 'pop-culture references'. Some of the creatures and other characters in Misthaven likewise have a loose basis in real life.
Will there ever be a crossover between the worlds of 'Death Inc.' and 'Misthaven'?
It is possible that someone from one of worlds would have a cameo in the other, nothing is settled yet. Be afraid, be very AFRAID.
What are your thoughts on [a specific horror trope or subgenre]?
I have a very few that I will not watch, give me specific genre and I will answer.
Do you believe in ghosts or the supernatural?
Yes, I believe in ghosts, though creatures and monsters? I think man is bigger monster. Such is the reason for …Humans behaving badly.
What advice do you have for aspiring horror writers?
Practice, practice and practice some more. Like many authors suggest I agree that writing everyday is required, even if you are not working on the same project every day, Be creative.
Will there be more stories featuring [a specific character]?
I have created a web of ideas for the short stories that make up Misthaven. Yes there will be characters being seen in some and/or many of the stories. Now about Death Inc, while each chapter is a story in itself, there are continuing stories that cross from book to book, so yes, expect to see specific characters over and over.
What is the most terrifying thing you have ever imagined?
Wait and watch, it will there.
Do you ever get scared writing your own stories?
Scared while writing, not so much. BUT, I do sometimes get so into the story that I am startled by my other half calling or one of my fur-babies touching me. Not being scared, just too focused.
