Effective date: September 17, 2026
Developer: Ezta Studio
Android package: com.eztastudio.specnixdeviceinfo
This policy describes how Specnix: Device Info & CPU handles information. It applies to the current version 1.0.2 distributed without advertising enabled.
Specnix reads information exposed by Android to show you your device's specifications and current condition. This may include the device brand and model, Android version, CPU and GPU details, memory and storage, display capabilities, battery readings, sensor information, connection status and local network IP addresses.
These readings are processed on your device. Live sensor readings run while the sensor page is visible and stop when you leave that page or put the app in the background. The app does not use these readings to identify you or send them to a developer-operated server.
The current app does not access your contacts, messages, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, IMEI or unique device serial number. It does not require an account or root access.
Your preferences, favorites and saved device snapshots are stored in the app's private storage. Snapshots contain device information, readings and timestamps. Local network IP addresses and Wi-Fi names are redacted before snapshots are saved and again when reports are exported or shared. Live sensor values are not recorded in snapshots; sensor inventory and supported capabilities may be included.
Android app backup is disabled by the app's configuration. Device operating systems and device-transfer tools may have their own behavior and policies.
Reports leave the app only when you choose to export or share them. You can preview reports and export them as TXT or JSON using Android's document picker. The destination you choose may be on your device or in a cloud storage service.
When you select another app or service to receive a report, that provider's privacy policy applies. Review the report and destination before sharing. Specnix does not automatically upload your reports, and Ezta Studio does not receive a copy unless you deliberately send one to us.
The current release does not include an advertising SDK, show ads, use analytics or crash-reporting services, or request Android's Internet or Advertising ID permissions. It has no developer-operated account or report service.
If advertising or another service that changes data handling is introduced in a future release, this policy and the app's store disclosures will be updated before that release. Android, Google Play and any service you choose for exporting or sharing operate under their own policies.
You can choose to keep snapshots for 7, 30 or 90 days. The app keeps at most 100 snapshots. Retention is applied when the app opens, when you change the retention setting and when you save a snapshot; it is not a continuously running background deletion service.
Delete an individual saved snapshot from its report preview, or use Settings to delete all saved reports. Clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app to remove its private local data and preferences. Temporary files created for sharing may also remain in the app's cache until they are cleaned up, the related report is deleted, all reports are deleted, or app storage is cleared.
Files that you export and copies held by receiving apps or services are outside Specnix's private storage. Deleting a snapshot or uninstalling Specnix does not delete those copies; remove them from the relevant location or contact the receiving service.
Specnix uses Android's app-private storage for settings and snapshots. Sharing uses temporary access to a selected report file. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and review reports before you export or share them.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message and any report you attach. We use that information to answer your request and resolve the issue. Support correspondence is kept only as needed for those purposes and any applicable legal obligations. Do not send passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
You control local data using the deletion options described above. For information that you have deliberately sent to us, you may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law.
Specnix is a general-purpose device-information utility. It does not require a child's name, age or account, and the current release does not transmit device readings to us. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support request, contact us so we can address it.
We may update this policy when the app or its data handling changes. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected in the app and its Google Play disclosures as appropriate.
