Melissa Jansen, MS-SLP
It is so wonderful to be back in the elementary school where I grew up! For those that don't know me, I am a South Prairie native! I attended South Prairie School for Kindergarten through 8th grade. I then went to Minot High School and graduated with honors. After high school I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Minot State University. I then worked as a Hearing Instrument Specialist for Miracle Ear for a year before beginning my teaching career. I began teaching at Bottineau Public School (1 year) when I started working on my Master's Degree. I then began working for Peace Garden Special Services (5 years) where I served the schools of Rollette, Wolford, Westhope, Newburg and TGU (Granville & Towner). During that time I completed my Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I began teaching at South Prairie School in the fall of 2009 and am happy to be here!!
